Our city is sponsoring a scarecrow contest for families. It's been fun to see what has popped up in people's front yards and at local businesses. The fire department made a fireman scarecrow, with a huge Energizer battery for the body. I also saw a really cute display with some sunbathing scarecrows on lounge chairs under umbrellas with drinks in hand. Today, as I took a leisurely stroll around the hood, this stopped me dead in my tracks:

Yes, that's a bride and groom at a haystack altar of flowers. Yes, the bride is pregnant. And yes, these people have elementary aged children.
Oh, good grief.
ReplyDeleteahahaha.....I didn't get it at first...lol.
ReplyDeleteOh... dear. That's unfortunate, isn't it? Or another way of putting it - YUCK.
ReplyDeletethe bride is intended to be pregnant or is she just getting married later in life and in great need of a properly supportive bra? ;)
ReplyDeletealso wanted to say thanks for the birthday greetings you left at my place over the weekend. :)
Geez....
ReplyDeletelet's go toilet paper their house!
Oh? DId they do that on purpose? Geez. Not NEAR as funny as they thought. A couple of years ago, our across the street neighbor put a guy hanging himself in the tree for Halloween. Complete with chair kicked over. The really bad part was that my husband's dad committed suicide years earlier, so it wasn't funny AT ALL.
ReplyDeleteI think it's misplaced boobs!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you who shared in my disgust. My neighbor thinks we should go steal the baby some night.
ReplyDeleteMerecat - thanks for commenting. I'm going to address what you wrote in my next post.
