One of my favorite bloggers, Lime, inspired me to take some photos last week in my neck of the woods. I didn't find anything as stunning as her purple leaf, but I'm proud to say that all photos were taken in our own little piece of heaven (aka, my back 40).

I call this our Burning Bush, though I have no idea what kind of tree it really is. I love the shade of red it turns every fall.
My view while doing the dishes!

Land of a thousand deer, unless you happen to be carrying a camera.
A lime green rock?

If you look closely, you will see a small creek in the foreground. It's a treasure trove for fossils.
These ferns are always the first sign of spring and the last sign of autumn every year.
The forecast calls for snow today. Wishing you all a few more peeks of summer!
Beautiful photos, C.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a lovely little piece of Heaven you've got there. . .
Gorgeous. I love being able to look out my window and see nothing but nature (instead of my next-door neighbors house).
ReplyDeleteoh how beautiful! i'm tickled that my post inspired this one. really just so gorgeous. I think that view would inspire me to do dishes!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go back and read all the posts I have been negligent in getting to...bad, bad bloggy!
Oooo - those are beautiful! I went out and did the same as our Indian Summer was all of last week. Today I had to get the winter coat back out.... sheesh!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view you have! We had a couple glorious Indian Summer days here last week, but the news today said we should be prepared to break out with our winter driving skills tomorrow morning, so yeah! The inevitable strikes! I already miss the red leaves in my back yard!
ReplyDeleteWow! How lucky you are to be able to enjoy that everyday. And we're pretty lucky that you take such beautiful pictures, too.
ReplyDelete:)
I do miss the autumn in the northeast, where I'm from. The southeastern autumns are very short going from Summer to Winter in a matter of days it seems.
ReplyDeleteOooooo, gorgeous pix, girl!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! =)
Thanks Everyone! Glad you shared in my experience.
