And The Winners Are.......

Day One - Citizen was the first one to guess the Grand Tetons. Honorable Mention goes to Trueself for her geographical correctness. It's a photo of Jenny Lake with the Grand Tetons in the background and it is indeed north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Probably the most beautiful place I've ever been.

Day Two - Desmond was the first correct answer of the Badlands in South Dakota. I was amazed that you were permitted to just walk all over the place there. My kids were a bit freaked out by the rattlesnake warning signs.

Day Three - I'm giving this one to Mike. It's a photo taken from the top of Sterling Vineyards (yes, that grocery store vintage) in Napa Valley, California. I cheated; this wasn't exactly a family vacation. My husband and I went for our 20th anniversary. I'd go back in a minute!

Day Four - No winners here. It's a photo taken in front of the Paris Hotel on the strip in Las Vegas. That mime is real, by the way! Wasn't my son a cutie back then? He still says that was our best vacation. We went to the Grand Canyon and traveled all over Arizona before heading to Hoover Dam and Vegas.

Day Five - Desmond called it! Those are the Sleeping Bear Dunes in northern Michigan. That was quite a dune to climb. College Daughter took that picture. She was down at the bottom of the hill with a broken ankle that happened in a softball game about three weeks before we left.
