. . . an idealistic business major met an aspiring political science major at an end of the year celebration on an urban university campus in the midwest. She was dating one of his friends; he had just returned from a semester in New York City working at the World Trade Center on a cooperative education job. Amidst the kegs and loud music, they found each other. Cheesy? Yes! But the rest is history.........
So I'm guessing the idealistic business major was you. . .
ReplyDeleteThose 'first meeting' stories are great. I honestly don't remember the exact first time that Molly and I met. But it wasn't long afterward that we became pretty good friends. . .
Love, love, love 'how we met' stories, and this is so sweet! Happy anniversary! Hope you two have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteDes - Yes, that was me, before the reality of the workplace set in. There's much more to the story, but I thought I'd keep it short and sweet.
ReplyDeleteFADKOG - It would have been nice to do something tonight, but alas, Husband is out of town for the week.
I would love to hear more about this love story Cocotte...

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for the kind comments. I'm not sure I'll post any more details. There was a little bit of "bad blood" that happened with his friend, so even though it was ages ago, I'm not sure how comfy I am blogging about it.
