This was the sign I passed all summer, driving to the organic farm or peach orchard. The buildings on that road are all from the 1960's, so maybe back then, people didn't have their minds in the gutter? In other news, Middle Child managed to get sick on her sixth day back to school. It started out as a sore throat, but then transpired into a headache, backache, runny nose and cough. I caught it three days later. As if I'm not paranoid enough, Husband keeps bringing up the Swine Flu...........how those in their late teens/early 20's are the most vulnerable, yada, yada, yada.........I went to the CDC's website to read up on the symptoms. Not certain how I'd know it was Swine Flu, since they listed every symptom known to man: headache, fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, stomach ache. Someone in the government was finally covering their ass.
I LOVE that sign. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteWe did the same thing just a few weeks ago. Frustrating.
ReplyDeleteFunny sign!
Around these parts, a company named Beecher Tool & Die is the object of similar mirth. . .
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that might make that sign more completely fantastic would be if the 3 in the address was a different number...
ReplyDeleteHAH! faDKoG, I so thought of that myself.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad you put it down for comment-space posterity. . .
;)
Ha! The company just had to be named by a man.
ReplyDeleteI actually had a case once with Big Boy Steel Erection Inc. I kid you not. Proof: http://www.bbsteel.com/
ReplyDeleteA relative of mine business card reads: "BTW truck engine service. What crawl when you can haul?"
ReplyDeleteBTW stands for "Balls to the Wall"
Seriously?
Who would hire "Inferior" erection service?
ReplyDeleteMama - It is a good one.
ReplyDeleteRuss - I am keep Puffs in business.
Des - At least Beecher isn't so obvious, at least to youth?
FADKOG - I didn't think of that. I'm glad you did.
Agent - You know it!
Laggin - Ok, Big Boy cracks me up!
Tulip - Do you think most people think it means "by the way?" Which really makes no sense.
Trooper - You are correct. Isn't there a "Superior Meat" company too?

ReplyDeleteLOL @ that sign!
ReplyDeleteI think sickness (swine flu, bird flu, regular flu, etc., etc.) hit every school this Fall, within a week or two of opening back up. Swine flu outbreaks at school have even been in the news in my area.
Yet another reason I'm glad I don't have kids. lol
