Looking For a Few Good Blogs

It seems as though many of the blogs in my Reader have quit blogging, or blog less than once a month. I'm looking for some recommendations! Is there a blog out there that you think I would enjoy? I only ask that they either answer comments or make return visits. Otherwise, I feel as though I'm talking to myself in cyberspace.

    Sheesh; I know what you mean. A couple years back, I had a nice little circle of fellow-bloggers, but now, not so much. Thank you for your support, btw; if it weren't for you and a couple others, I might have no readers at all. . .

    I'd love to help you out, but I think you and I pretty much hit the same blogs already. . .

    You know what I do when I'm looking for new blogs? I read the comments on blogs I already like - that way you already know if they are the commenting type. And then I go check out their blog and if it appeals, I leave a comment, saying whose blog I found them on. And then I see if they visit back. Only a portion of those turn into regulars, but I've found some great blogs that way. It's kind of like fishing.

    Hmm. . . I have the same problem with my blogroll. I will say that I do love the posts of GnightGirl over at http://gnightgirl.blogspot.com/

    She's a forties-something mom of a soldier over in Iraq, also caring for her mom who has Alzheimers. She writes funny and touching and inspiring entries. I am totally in bloglove with her.

    Secret Agent Woman has it right, that's the way to do it. Don't bother listing them on yours because you're right, they don't post more than once a month.

    If I promise to post more will you come back? I'll even post oogie pictures of my surgery if you like :)
