While my son is enjoying Blizzard Beach in Orlando today, I'm stuck here in the rain, sleet and snow! What a lousy break in a long stretch of good weather..........that 22 hour bus ride to Florida that I did two years ago isn't sounding so bad right about now!
I will need to come up with a new name for College Daughter, because in a few weeks, she'll no longer be one. Graduation, state boards, and job interviews are all on the very near horizon.
We continue to house hunt, although considering it's a good time to sell (and it's 'Spring') only about one house per week pops up in our price range. It's discouraging. Husband laid out a few yards of mulch last week to spruce up our yard. I hope it lasts until we put the house on the market again.
Middle Child has an unbelievable amount of projects in the next few weeks for school. I'm overwhelmed just helping her stay on top of everything and remain organized. I'm going to take a break from blogging for about a month. I'll stop by your places when time permits. Until then.......

I'm wondering what became of those 80-degree days in March. . .

We've had a few flurries here, but on the whole, nothing too terribly nasty.
Enjoy your break. We'll miss you, of course, but we'll keep the light on for ya. . .
Totally understand - enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteMissing you already .... ;-)
ReplyDeleteBlogging isn't life, and if it is, you have a pretty sorry life! So take the time you need to enjoy and/or deal with your life, but know that you'll be missed. Hope you make it back soon!
ReplyDeleteOh no, missing you already! Seriously though, enjoy the break. Good luck with your various academic/job/property activities.
ReplyDeleteSeems I'm always on a break from my blog...*sigh*

ReplyDeleteUnderstandable life does take over some time but we will miss you! See you when you return!

ReplyDeleteAw, shucks, now that I'm back from my break, YOU'RE taking a break:(
ReplyDeleteBut I can totally understand, my friend....totally. Sometimes life takes precedence.
I'll miss ya, but will eagerly anticipate your return!
(((( You ))))
Talk to ya soon!
Enjoy your well earned break! we all need them sometimes...
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, what a landmark for you, with "college daughter" on the precipice of entering the working world - scary and exciting all at once, I imagine (it's our turn next year, when our eldest graduates). You've nurtured, cared for, encouraged and grown her - eeeeeeek - now she's off to make her own way, eh?
ReplyDeleteAs my old gran was wont to say, "Whats for you won't go past you." If your dream house hasn't shown yet, there is a reason for it - have faith, it'll turn up (smile).
Everyone needs to pull back from blogging now and then, though I will miss you, I truly understand having been there myself. Hurry back, yeah?
Dang it! I've been away too long. Well, have a nice break and good luck on the house hunting!
