Jeez, if Jenny's Valentine's Day gift to me was a funeral plan, I think I'd boot her straight out the door. What a bizarre idea. What on earth do they think Valentine's Day is all about?
Not the best idea for Valentine's Day indeed, but certainly a good idea for another time to consider. I'm all for pre-planning funerals; my mom did it which was one of the best gifts she gave us; it was all taken care of when the time came. Conversely, hubby's parents hadn't made any arrangements so when they passed, hubby and brother were scrambling around trying to get it all done in their grief. Good gift, just not for Valentine's day.
Ha ha ha, we had a salesfreak show at the office today trying to sell hones to a company that doesn't use 'em! But that's nothing compared to this ... wow! What a 'thoughtful' gift ...
Hi Bij, Happy Valentine's day to you & your "main squeeze" :). Not romantic at all... I dunno but love is supposed to be sharing the present time in love and joy. This dosen't hit the spot at all!
Thanks for the Valentines wishes! I'm happy to report my husband came through with the proper gifts of love and sexiness! Have a great day of love in France!
LOL ... I would be watching my back after receiving that "gift". Although my hubby did buy me towels and bed pillows one year for Christmas. Not much better.
Hahahaha!!! That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteWeird, huh?

ReplyDeleteBizarre bordering on psychotic!
Deleteisn't it romantic? gees....that's some desperate marketing.
ReplyDeleteBusiness must have been down.
Delete"I can honestly say that if my spouse gave me this for Valentine's Day, he should definitely be planning his own funeral."
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahaha! HILARIOUS! And I totally agree! Bad idea.
X
Very, very bad!
DeleteP.S. Oh, and I love that you've added the embedded commenting format below your posts :)
ReplyDeleteI had it on my iPad, then it disappeared! It took me forever to figure out how to get it back up! Grrrrrrrr
DeleteNothing says love like a red velvet lined coffin, eh? LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny ad.
Only funny to those of us who don't receive this gift!

Only a good gift if the person giving it is the one who passed away.

ReplyDeleteI'd go so far as to compare this to a gift of poisoned chocolates.

ReplyDeleteFor sure! It's like getting a life insurance policy on yourself as a gift!
DeleteYes, that thought occured to me. But then, its only the funeral director's advertising agency trying to be smart huh? - Dave
ReplyDeleteYes, I seriously doubt anyone would actually get this for their valentine.
DeleteYup!
