(......and maybe only Craig and Susie will understand that title....)

I spotted this in the parking lot of a nearby store. Shaggy must have needed to pick up some Scooby Snacks.
Incredible sight one Monday morning at the park. The aliens have left us a message. Surprisingly, it lasted a week.
Even though I don't work anymore, I still feel this way about any meeting I'm forced to sit through. |

Schoolhouse Rock keeping it real!
Makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it. Then I think about how many kids on the internet probably read this and didn't get it, and then I laugh harder. |
I did not know that about bills in Congress. I suspected it though.
ReplyDeleteLOL....you learn something new everyday . . . Or not.
DeleteThe van is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to wait around to see who was driving it, but I'm not a very patient person.
DeleteI'm trying to understand the 'alien' thing. Did someone come by and stack rocks on top of each other?
ReplyDeleteAnd the horse joke is pretty good, on multiple levels. . . (sorry, my inner 13-year-old can't help snickering when I think 'Trojan'. . .)
Either someone or something made those stone statues. We will never know.
Deletehaha that van is great. So right on the bill one. Ugg to meetings too, hate sitting through them and being bored to death with the same old crap.
ReplyDeleteMeetings: For those who like to hear themselves talk!
DeleteLove the van, school house rock's truth and the Greek's bringing gifts.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed?
DeleteAm I old, or do I follow Xavier? Or both?
ReplyDeleteDo you mean large? No, I'm just teasing Xavier about his posts.
DeleteToo many words, not enough pictures ;-)
DeleteKeep trying, you'll get it eventually!
You're alive!
DeleteRumors of my demise have yet to be confirmed ....
DeleteSomeone had too much time on their hands with all those rock sculptures! Very cool though!!!
ReplyDeletebetty
It looked really neat in person.
DeleteThe van looks a happy one :)
ReplyDeleteWeird..it reminds of one episode of Friends where Monica and Phoebe started to work together & the van was somewhat like this!!!
Did you ever see the cartoon, Scooby Doo? It is the same van as in the cartoon show.
DeleteLove the van!
ReplyDeleteI think the rocks are very Zen.
They really are!
DeleteThe stone sculptures on the lake are rather wonderful. Did you ever find out who created them?
ReplyDeleteToo true about government bills. It's much the same here, I'm sure. There's corporate cash behind most things if you start looking for it. Too true about pointless meetings as well.
I have no idea who did the stone sculptures, but I notice that kids are trying to replicate them now, to a smaller scale.
DeleteI've had it with lobbyists and special interest groups.
Great photos, Bijoux! The rock piles are really cool and "How A Bill Becomes Law" is a classic.
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to make more of those Schoolhouse Rock memes.
DeleteThey call it lobbying, but that's just a nicer word for bribery.
ReplyDeleteLike the Trojan horse one, too!
Special interest groups is another 'nice' word. Tired of it all.....
DeleteHave fun too
ReplyDeleteAnd did I hear you raise me a Scooby Doo?
